It’s 2025! I can hardly believe it. There was much to celebrate last year, including My Family Cat’s first anniversary as a business in Nov 2024. Creating a housecall practice dedicated to the emotional welfare of cats and helping address behavioral concerns like conflict between cats, housesoiling, and anxiety has been so rewarding. Thank you so much to my incredible, dedicated cat parent clients for your support. I loved collaborating with all of you as much as I loved meeting your cats! In honor of my love of senior cats (including Puff, who is almost 18 years old!), I’m excited to be launching a new service for senior kitties called the Silver Panther package. Unlike my behavior-focused consults, the Silver Panther package takes a more holistic view of daily life for your senior cat and how we can support them physically and emotionally and maximize comfort. The service includes an in-home initial visit and virtual recheck, and we’ll discuss everything from navigating your senior cat’s medical conditions to discussing new behavior changes, adapting the environment for mobility, and making vet visits and medication time as stress free as possible. I also released a blog post about the emotional toll of feline vet visits and launched the Catnip Club, a free collection of bonus resources for clients who have completed a consult that includes an extensive list of my fave enrichment products and a comprehensive page on gel cap training.
